"Yes sir! You don't have to tell me that! I have already seen that strange sword of your's and I'd rather stay on good terms with it."

Turning to the lady, maybe in spite of the other man...he said,

"It appears that I have been granted a chance to repay your warm gestures of greeting, mi'lady!"

Casting him a wink, she replied cheerily ~ "Always glad to have agreeable company, Daniel. Now..." ~ Thrusting Aragorn and Cyrus a dubious look ~ "We'd best be on our way... who shall you ride with?"

With a grim smile, Aragorn spoke gravely ~ "You're welcome to ride with me if you like." ~ Muttering to himself ~ "No self-respecting lady would be seen riding with another man on the same horse..."

I stood my ground for a few seconds more, my face a stone mask of defiance. Then, almost unexpectedly, my face softened into a cross between a smirk and a grin. "Alright, whatever you say!" I said. For a second I chuckled, letting my body go lax as I walked for the door of the tavern. Honestly, I didn't know why she was so upset.

"I will take you up on that kind offer, good sir!"

Daniel mounts the horse behind Aragorn.

OOC: Oh, yikes. That sounds awful Mistral, wish him the best of luck from me
AAAAGH! Stupid wisdom tooth. This is my *second* wisdom tooth, and so far they've *both* had complications. The wound had to be reopened, there was still a small bit of bone inside - very, very deep down. Wonderful. Just plain WONDERFUL.
All righty, can anyone tell me where everyone is? I've lost track, and I'd like to introduce a slightly insane drow druid to the party... or maybe a younger Kaz. I haven't decided yet. What level should she be?

OOC>>> Thanks for caring, Kaz The op went well and I'm spending these few days taking care of him and trying to keep the house dust-free But terribly sorry to hear about your wisdom teeth That seems badly done... did you go to a specialist? I think the increase in fees is worth it if he/she can do a decent job and not make you undergo such horrors

Back to the plot... one of the battles against the baddies has ended, but the main war (with a mighty dragon) is yet to come. Larry's dad has just bumped into the group which consists of Spree's dad and Mistral's parents (they're not exactly in love yet ).

My guess is that Spree isn't free to post these days, so you could squeeze in a long post that incorporates his/her history and how he/she comes across the group.

Looking forward to your participation!!

OOC>>>Spree was going to Florida for the week, wasn't she? At least that is what I was to understand.
Mistral! I have movie recommendations for you!
>Pride and Prejudice
>Emma
>Sense and Sensibility

They are all, I believe, of Jane Austen...a novelist that I am thinking of starting to pick up...let me know if you are already familiar with her works.

OOC>>> Larry, I have read all 6 of her works and have a leather-bound complete collection For your information, the titles are: Pride and Prejudice (I've watched the 50s version starring Laurence Olivier and Greer Garson, a bit distorted ), Mansfield Park (there was recently a movie on this, but very distorted ), Emma (yep, watched the Gwyneth Paltrow one but the Kate Beckinsale one, I believe, is more credible ), Sense and Sensibility (Kate Winslet was fine, but Emma Thompson ), Northanger Abbey (watched the BBC version ) and Persuasion (none so far, I think ).

Now beat that!!!

PS. She is absolutely an intriguing novelist to read and keeps your interest going without loading all the scenery, etc. on you.

ooc: Hi everybody! *Hugs all around* That's right, been in Florida. Got to go swim with a dolphin! YAY!! *Immitates dolphin and splashes a full pitcher of water on Larry* Hee hee...

Uhm uhm uhm... Sephi is in Florida right now (He went to Disney World.) and I believe he will be back this Saturday.

Kaz!! ER... Yeah, you should probably join in on the dragon battle. I'd say the drow is probably better, considering a younger Kaz meeting everybody's parents could lead to some OEW contradiction. But uhm... Like Mistral said, a big introduction post and then bump into us. I'll have Cyrus' sword help if need be.
