I've looked about this forum and see no mention of this spell, I found it in Durlags Tower on the body of a greater doppleganger. has anyone else found it or was it just an odd copy of TOTSC own.

You are one extremely lucky dude, man!
From what I know, there are certain mage spells in BG/TotSC which can't be found the conventional way (eg. in chests, cupboards etc). Examples of such spells are Shadow Door, Polymorph Other, Cone of Cold, and ... Wraith Form. Such spells are only cast be enemy spell-casters or activated by wands (due to their game-unbalancing potency perhaps?). But since the treasure found on some comman monsters has a randomness to it, it seems that you've struck jack-pot! |

Hiya mir_ror!
here's my usual wisecrack: wraith form is among the game files but - as you said - it's 'unfindable' for reasons of balance and bugs. This one could crash your game; if it doesn't, you'll be a vapor for a few seconds. The spell doesn't last long enough to cast it, run up to your enemy and deal a blow, so I think it's of doubtful use. |
