Is it possible to extract all the npc soundfiles with Infinity explorer, I have tried but can't find them anywere, anyone know were to look. Also I always get all the Npc sprites in weird colours, green faces and yellow armor. Anyone know why? Most of the other graphics are fine.

bugger that, use winbiff (www.teambg.com) and search for .wav files. Youll need to find wavc though - its a tricky one. Teambg forums had a working link a month ago, if you cant track down a live copy I have it around somewhere. Its tiny so i could mail it.
The NPC sprites are holdovers from BG1 - there in weird colours cos there drawn with different pallates. Skin is yellow so that portion of the pallate is replaces with the appropriate range for that character skin. You could re-tone them yourself if you really wanted to, easier to make a white inventory.MOS in your override and take screenshots. Youll need BG1 to get those sprites however. BG2 sprites are held in .PLT files. IEE wont show them, winbiff will. I wrote a viewer a while back, might still have it. Black&white though, I never did get colour in it. Again, easiest to take screenshots and cut out your sprite.

There is actually a 16Mb download at the sorcerers place that has all NPC soundfiles [img]smile.gif[/img]
