latest news (last I heard): around 5pm,
Detroit: around $5 per gallon Grand Rapids : around $4.50 per gallon Mt. Pleasant: $4.00 per gallon when I was going thru town, I happened to notice the long lines at every gas station. So I called a friend of mine for info. last heard that the gas is rising about .20 per hour... needless to say, I found myself in one of those lines after that info... afterwards, I stopped to get milk at this one store. There were two cops interviewing the two 12-13 year old boys and a woman... turns out that the mother's child (age unknown) went missing and the cops are asking the two young witnesses... damn it's getting crazier every minute...  ------------------ get away from my homepage |

Tuscaloosa: $5.00 per gallon Mobile: $4.00 per gallon North B'ham: $4.00 per gallon Unfortunately, I think it's going to get worse before it gets better. Markets all around the world are dropping like a rock. GOD BLESS AMERICA!! |

It's happening here in Alabama, and Mississippi also. It is price gouging from panic, it brought tears to my eyes.

I went earlier this evening and filled up both my cars. I had to wait about 15 minutes each time. People are also starting to show their nasty side too (i.e. cutting people off at the tanks). This is not the time to do this! If you happen to be at the tanks and you see an office or fireman or doctor or nurse, show them some kindness and let them in. Imagine the kind of turmoil that it would be if this happened in your town. It's time for everyone to come together and show support for what we are going to be going through. The road to peace is going to be a long one.
