Most Photoshop problems with the latest versions, started with version 5 plus is easiest fixed by reinstalling Photoshop completely, and to throw out some old never to be used fonts, also check how much Ram Photoshop is taking.. 50% of 128 MB ram might be too much under win2k, under win 98 its about perfect..

Also, get Adobe Type Manager and get rid of most Truetypes! They don´t look nice when you are pinting something anyway!
(OKI; sorry workrelated damage.. error error..)

the other two works just fine!

to edit: Just IN! Photoshop 6.0 works now! woo-hoo!

I'm down to 342 fonts phooey! no fun!

Hmm.. I have 900 fonts and 6.01 works fine.. look in your font folder in explorer and sort by size. if you have more than 5 that are over 30MB EACH that can also eat up LOTS of memory. How much ram do you have?

PS Also, in your C:\windows dir, delete the file "ttfCache" so it can start clean.
