Hi there !

How do you copy URLs from another page or bookmarks into a post ?
I am running Netscape 6. I know that you can drag & drop an URL from the same page/window into a post. But it won't let me put an URL into the internal cache,
so copy and paste between different pages/windows/threads won't work.

You don't have to memorize and spell them out every time , do you ?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Netscape 6??! Shame

Well I usually just copy the adressfield by marking it and pressing ctrl+c or that apple sign + c on a blasted Mac..

Then I just paste it in my message..

High light the text of the URL you want, (you may need to get this by right clicking on the link) and then using copy and paste. Ctrl + c for copy Ctrl + v for paste

You can also right click on the url in question, which brings up th alternete dialogue box and choose copy. Then go to where you want to place it right click and follow the same proceedure to paste.

If you are using a a Mac, I sorry,follow Stealthy's intructions.

Thank you, Gray Mage, but my browser won't let me do that, I am afraid. Have to use the keys.

Btw, I am using a MS-standard PC.

Thanks, Wolfie, but that is a misunderstanding:

I didn't want to know how to copy an URL to but from my list of bookmarks.

Don't know if it is what you meant, Wolfie, but just discovered that in Netscape 6 there is a feature called "Manage BM" (crtl+ B) and that pop-up-window actually allows you to even drag & drop your bookmark URLs !

Thanks again, you guys are just great !
