For me (USA EST -5) the forum is getting VERY slow from say.. 1pm till 8pm.. it will crash for 5-10 mins sometimes, then be back and FAST for a bit, then repeat. I need to know if this is happening to you guys.. It could be my connection (Cablemodem) but I don't think so.

Thanks,

It happens to me also I always thought it was my crappy computer at work, but now I don't think so. Many times during the day it will give me error messages or will say the server is not responding

BTW....what did happen to the BGII forum?

I'll pay closer attention to the times you mention and get back to you on that.
I noticed it being slow here and there ocassionally but thought it was my connection.

Only time recently that I haven't been able to bring the site up was the day you udpated one of the newer icons for rankings...it was not there just prior to getting the message that the site was not respnding but was when I got back in later.

Yup, I've noticed it too. For me (PST), it is the same you described, but three hours earlier. I'll post, then get a dns error, then try back a few minuites later and be ok. When it starts working again, it is usually very fast.

In my professional opinion, the only reason it does this is because the site feels like it's owner is not watching it. It knows that you have to work during the day so it thinks it can get away with this nonsense. You must put an end to this.

Yes, that happens, but I still think it's fault of my modem (56K).
But what is not modem's fault - those error messages like "Page cannot be displayed".
Btw, is it only me or W&W forum is extremely slow right now?

That's the time I'm on the most, but I haven't noticed it faster during the night. I'll pay more attention and see if I notice anything.

Yes it has been happening like you said Z. I would be on and then I would go to a different forum and the site would go down and try alittle bit later and it is back up and works for a bit and then goes down again.
