I think it was Cyric that killed Bane.

Or was it Torm? - It was definately not that old grey man

Ah no.........Cyric killed Bhaal I think,
So it must've been Torm (because Helm is the outer plane guardian and he wouldn've killed Bane)

PS: Anyone read Forgotten Realms, "Finder's Bane" - with Joel, Holly, Jedidiah and the priestess of Bane?
I just finished it = marvellous.

Who did Elminster kill then? Guy at work mentioned one of the Gods - was it Bhaal? If so, that would explain his interest in Bhaal's offspring

Right you are Blademaster! I spent all morning reading it - looked like a real saint in the classroom and not even the teachers decided to disturb me because I was so "hooked".

Finder is a cool God. I would love to serve him too
(And nick his powers j/k)

Some spoiler information on the Time of Troubles (don’t read if you are planning to read the Avatar Trilogy, Prince of Lies and Crucible):

.

Cyric killed Bhaal (God of Murder) at Boareskyr Bridge.
Torm (God of Duty) and Bane (God of Strife) killed each other at Tantras. Torm was later resurrected by Lord Ao.
Midnight killed Myrkul (God of the Dead) at the top of Blackstaff Tower in Waterdeep.
This is all documented in the Avatar Trilogy.
Cyric took on all their portfolios when he ascended to godhood (he was once called the Lord of Three Crowns).
He lost the portfolio of Death to Kelemvor (documented in Prince of Lies).

Elminster didn’t kill anyone AFAIK (God knows he has the power to, though).

I was never into Elminster, he's too bloody powerful, the book's were O.K, but Ed Greenwood is such a damn sook, Elminster should not be unkillable, Level 29, so what, he never even gets badly hurt (correct me if im wrong), I would once like to read about Elminster on his death bed, or at least give him a bit of fireball afterburn, anything.

On an unrelated topic, I do like his hat !

Time is only relevant if you have none !
