Heavily tweaked above the base model of course, but that's the one. [ 04-18-2007, 09:44 AM: Message edited by: Morgeruat ] |

Before we move on with the fight...
Sever...is this move actively-offensive or defensively-preparative quote: ...the determined thief held his trusty shortsword at the ready, awaiting his opportunity to strike from shadow once again. The word "awaiting" is what has me confused, as I don't understand the context. |

Pending, until, in anticipation of... I don't understand the confusion. It does, however, sound a little out-of-tense in that sentence. This be what happen when i wrote stuff after work on friday and drinking.
The crouch is both, and neither, offensive and defensive. Sever is merely pending, until, in anticipation of...

Thanks. I'll take that to mean that you attack in a generic fashion when I make the write-up. I may add some extra in there to give the attack some flair, but more than likely I'll just see how you fare against the dice roll on tripping over a rock and busting your nose open before the ettin steps back and crushes your head under his heel, tripping him in the process so that he lands backwards on your sword that you happen to hold up at the last minute and impale him upon it, which inevitably ends your life under the dead ettin, which solves the problem that Xaver and Pandaros had in trying to figure out how to kill you without earning evil alignment points. Their only worry would thus be to take the time to push the ettin off of your body and loot you...or if that would be more work than it was worth.
So...anyway...let's see how these dice roll! |

FYI: I have taken a new job at Circuit City just to pay some bills, while continuing to look for my dream career.
In retail sales, the hours are crazy, and so I'll be working from 10am to 10pm most nights for at least the next few weeks. I'll still try to have my one or two posts ready on a daily basis, taking place each night if I am not too exausted. Let's just see where this goes and then I can get a better feel as to what I can make happen. Right now, with Morgie's help, I think I can handle the game at the rate it has recently been travelling. |
