Hey all, this question is for my US friends.
I'm going to be selling my prom (fancy) dresses online since it's been 10 years since I wore them and they don't fit anymore anyway. The problem I'm having is, once I sell them, I'm not sure what to mail them in. I don't want to shove them in a priority postal mailer, that's really too small, so I thought I'd ask you if you know where I could get a dress box suitable for mailing?

Thanks!!!

Not an American, sorry about that. But can't you get those boxes at any regular postoffice ? I know we have them here.

I tried that, but I couldn't find anything large enough to ship a prom dress in there.

Does it happen a lot in the US, that girls sell their promdresses a couple of years later ? In that case i'd check a shop that sells those dresses, they'll probably have the right size boxes. Just a thought.

try going to a clothing store and see if they'll give you a couple boxes, it's not the holiday season so they may not have a problem with this. or ask around at a grocery/department store. then all you need to do is wrap it in the appropriate brown paper and voila! just a suggestion
