Okay, most of you know by now that the first community add-on for BG2 is here. It`s called The Darkest Day and offers "over 30 hours estimated minimum added game play, 180+ new items, 170+ new spells, 39+ new creatures, 75 new kits, 40+ minor quests, five major quests, and one Mega Quest". Not too shabby!

It`s a big download and available from http://www.teambg.net/tdd/. A couple of different mirrors can be found here:

http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?file=80744

http://www.3ddownloads.com/?file_id=152746

http://www.fragland.net/?body=leech&dir=/bg2

http://edome.fi.soneraplaza.net/php/...003395383.html

Download managers are supported for those of us with slow connections.

Post your thoughts and general impressions here. A big thank you to Team BG for pulling this off. Very impressive, lads.

Sure, it`s big, but would we want it any other way?

All those new kits alone is worth it, imo. And I had problems deciding on a character before... Ack!

dunno about you lot, but thats to long for me. still, its confirmed for the PCZ christmas disc, and hopeful for a PCG disc (since PCZ, quite honestly ,sucks (at least the last issue i bought does)) still, anything which gives me more to kill must be a good thing.
