I am so sorry his family has been hit by this tragedy during the season when family togetherness is high-lighted.

I always wondered if TL was the most educated person on our forum.
I had the opportunity to have a whiskey with him in a bar in Chicago when I was on tour.
Was a great time. Great guy. Always enjoyed our conversations.
What sad news.

This is really sad news

Some 10 years ago, when it was difficult to buy English versions of games in Poland, I needed an English version a few files for IWD2 after my own CD was scratched. He actually put them on a CD and sent it over (no Dropbox/fast internet connections back then)...

RIP Timber Loftis

It is heartwarming to see the responses here and to know that Timber/Jon will not be forgotten. Don't think I've been this sad on IW since our Animal passed away a few years back. Timber was, indeed, an intelligent and thoughtful man. He was passionate about his family and many topics he brought to the table here or joined in the conversation. He was part of the forum life at Oasis and was one of the people who kept things hopping at IW. In doing so, he touched a lot of people in a variety of ways.

I pray his family can find peace and the strength to pick up the pieces of their lives and forge ahead, as he would have wanted them to do.

God Bless all of you here, as well.

Cloudy

Just logged into IW to reconect with a few people and have just read this.

Sad, sad, sad.

Timber Loftis was always a favourite of mine on this and the OASIS forum. I warmed to his humour and the way he could respectfully argue his case ... no doubt about him being a lawyer! Being at the time a fellow vegetarian I often got advice and support from him.

Goodbye Jon and may the pain that your family and friends feel be soothed soon by fond and everlasting memories.
