Still, looking at Jake's replies, I think he brought it upon himself.
It's in times like these that people can get very nervous/excited/outright shocked and they end up saying things they don't mean in order to diguise their own.... sadness. Jake's probably a really nice guy, posting what he did was probably just his way of coping. It upset other people, but everyone mourns in their own way i guess.

no on a series note, I don't think many of the newcomers realise what a nice and close society we are. this isn't your average site to unleash your wrath of opinions.

I disagree, mate. He was flamebaiting people to get a reaction. I can tell the difference between flamebaiting and harmless joking.

I agree with this. I read his posts (unfortunately). If he was just releasing emotion or joking or stressed, he would have apologized after the second or third one. He NEVER apologized. He was baiting right up until Memnoch stepped in. Although he could have made a nice addition, at this point I have to say "Good Riddance".

Newcomers only need to bring two things with them to this site - respect and courtesy to fellow members. That's all we ask.

And all we ever expect! But if we don't get it, we say byebye to them. Sometimes we have our disagreements, but we do make amends and move on. Trolls don't do that.

Thank you, Mem.

At best Jake's posts were very inappropriate at a time like this. America bashing could be saved for a time when thousands of American's have not just senselessly lost their lives. Insensitive. He was warned......it would be different if he wasn't. Good call, Mem. I know that Ironworks does not take the banning of people lightly.
