Hig Guys,

Just wondering if you can help me with Firefox.

What I want is when I click on a link that take me to another webpage I want Firefox to open it in the current window under a new tab.

What it is currently doing is opening a new firefox windoe.

I've gone into Options>Advanced>Tab Options and played around in there but can't get it opening a new page in the currrent window with a new tab.

lil help anyone ?

Cheers!

In about:config (type that into your address bar),
set browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs to true - the filter will help you to find the pref. This will put more options under tab options, specifically the ability to "Force links that open new windows to open in:". I can attest to this working, because I have opening everything opening in the same tab unless I tell it otherwise.

If you want to just open a single link in a new tab then right clicking and selecting open link in new tab works.
