i went quite a while after valan spoke with me. i just went during the day (for edwin's little thing) then rested till it was night. then spoke to the ghost boy. then bodhi showed up.

Don't forget, you can CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys() and CTRL-T if you arrive early, to make it night. Each time is one hour.
