say 256 mb, that's 60 songs right there, don't need 40 gigs and such, what are you listening to movies?

but you make a good point ^^
but what if you feel like listening to a specific song?
i have done that often and a minidisc player just doesn't have the storage.

I think i might buy an ipod at some point, when i have saved some money, not an ipod mini either, i need a lot of storage.
well if you feel like listening to a specific song..then upload it from your comp..i mean really it takes less than ..what a min to upload it.. so i mean..you know you'll never really use the whole 10-50 gigs, unless they come up with like a new format of songs, which have extremely good qualities, and are bigger in size..but that's not gonna happen anyday soon..so i guess not..

I could fill 8 gig at the monment, and i'd be happy, i'd like 60gig for future expansion and for use as a portable hard drive though.
And what if i'm not near my computer? what if i go on holidays and all i take is the music player and a charger, i just think the idea of having all your music avaliable to you, constantly, is just great, and it's painfull to use my minidisc because i have to cut down on what i want to add or not.

This is starting to get bad. do you know the guy who start the free ipod thread and put dubioud links in Ironworks? I see he now started to spread his modus operandi in other forum too.

Not so as you'd notice... ALl I've done is rule out the iPod, Rio Nitrus, and Rio Carbon (as it is not available online yet...)

So it's down to the Zen Touch, Zen Touch Micro, Zen Touch Jukebox, or the Rio Karma...

Although I may just be favouring the Karma slightly

And I don't think I like the jukebox's look so much...

I got an iPod Mini for my birthday, and I enjoy it lots. Unless you listen to it for every waking moment of your life, you shouldn't easily run out of battery power, unless you have the backlight turned on constantly and have the volume at full blast. I have a Creative Nomad as well and I reccomend that noone touch one! Ever!

And why not SG? (The Nomad is the jukebox right?)

An I-Pod topic is a banned topic on IW. Seriously tough IMO I-Pods are cool but way to expensive. I'd get a Creative Zen player if I were you.

It's called a Nomad II. And it's a piece of junk. I think it's different than the Jukebox, though.

I-Pod mini's are only $300 american ($350 CAN). That's not bad for 1000 songs of music.
