I have been becoming just a little bit annoyed about these stupid frickin' pieces of crap. I have a cursed dagger -1 equipped to my rogue and the serpents staff thingy you get from xydussa's sister in the serpent temple equipped to my warlok. I CAN NOT UNEQUIPP ANY OF THESE THINGS!!! Please, OH PLEASE, tell me how to get rid of them. Please tell me soon or my Warlok may die of the curse.

but do not reequip as they are still cursed. A high level warlock should regenerate hit points as fast as the staff loses them. The cursed weapons have advantages as the supply of + gear is very limited

Make sure you have room in your inventory for the cursed item. If there is no room for it when you do "uncurse" in the temple, it STAYS EQUIPPED!, and you've just wasted 3000 gold!!!

Arrows, THROWING items, and certain potions that are accumulative can be "ID" by having someone who is already carry say THROWING daggers that HAVE BEEN identified pick them up. I have not yet found "cursed" versions of these items. But at least I don't have to pay to ID.

What bugs me is you can identify items such as the Vampire Ring and you don't know it is cursed until you try to use it. There is no way to tell if an item is cursed, although you can guess if it shows some negative stats. I wonder if the Vampire Ring will help someone who is a vampire? I didn't go for that option.

Very interesting point, Zig, that identification does not indicate whether or not an item is cursed. Would seem reasonable to me if a character was sufficiently proficient in identification that they should be able to recognize a cursed item.

Umm . . . I am sure everyone has thought of this but me. Last night my youngest suggested the following regarding ID: Just save . . . go in and get everything ID'd and reload. I suppose one could save, equip and wait for the negative consequences, then reload, if necessary.
