How exactly do I find out whether I have a POP or IMAP server? How do I find out the incoming/outgoing server name?
Please specify what other information I need to post, as I have NO idea what to do in this situation.

Uhh... same as you would in any other similar program? Your mail provider should give you the details.

Check your email provider. They should be able to answer these questions in a FAQ on their website. If you want some more input, who's your provider?

Andrewas, if I knew where you lived, your sexual orientation and your religion, and if I was gay, I would kiss you right now. THANK YOU!
