TY Bill . Good to hear Nacht is feeling a little better, cloudlady. I've been nasty sick myself for the past few days but I woke up today feeling a bit better.

Doing my long x-coutry today finally! The FSS weather advisor told me the weather is clear and unrestricted along the whole route and time of my flight! Supposed to be mountain turblence below 14k feet I guess, and er, 13knot x-wind, nothing I can't handle though

You all have a great day, I'll tell ya'll how it goes when I get back this evening

Ah, back. Flight went well, boredom was a problem, but there were some interesting things...like listening to flight following on the way from airport #2 to airport #3 (flight following is the frequncies the big airlines use for arriving departing Socal, ect. general aviation uses it too though). It was really busy today and the controller was getting all frustrated because people would call in while he was giving directions to another plane, which makes an annoying buzzing sound and you end up not being able to hear him.
After a few minutes of this, the controller shouts, "YOU GUYS NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER. I'M SICK AND TIRED OF BEING STEPPED ON." It's all quiet afterwards for a few moments...needless to say I was laughing pretty hard .
There was some turblence, not bad if youre in a jet but quite a jostle in my little cessna...I'd be sitting there, looking at my map or flight plan or just staring out the window and suddenly WHUMP the plane bounces down and then back up, then vibrates...like an unpredicatable roller coaster, not fun

All in all was a good flight though. I brought my Propel water and a bag of wild berry Skittles to keep me somewhat entertained. Found my way around the inland just fine. Now from here its just practise practise for my check ride!

Sounds like fun Ladyblue. LOL at the controller. Remember my first flight through (under) some patchy cloud, I had been warned clouds suck but I did not know they ment it that way! A rollercoaster ride described it perfectly

A glourious autumn day down here in paradise, maybe after a little snooze to recover from last nights 12 hour overtime shift I will go for a ride on the motorbike.

LOL, well it did hit 91 degrees farenheit up here a few days ago! Gee, it's winter down your way soon, isn't it, Wellard? Hehe...maybe we'll share some of the sun with you.

Ugh, it was hot here today too. Like 94 or so inland, about 85 in Del Mar at the coast where my show was. The pool will be ready for soaking soon
