The most 'horrific' child-abuse case: cops

Simply Horrible!! Both of the adults should be nutered. I don't know how people can do this to children.

The 22-year-old mother is charged with sexual assault, unlawful confinement, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, assault, causing a child to be in need of protective services and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

The 25-year-old stepfather is charged with sexual assault, sexual contact with a child, sexual counselling, unlawful confinement, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, assault, uttering death threats, causing a child to be in need of protective services, and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

At the time of the 2005 arrests, police alleged the victim was so badly abused she resorted to drinking Miracle-Gro liquid fertilizer to quench her overwhelming thirst when she was frequently denied water.

At this point, I see them having only one redeeming quality: life as a bad example.

Horrific crime. Horrific crimes, plural. There's only so much you can do to punish them, though. And I'm sure it won't be enough.

My thoughts lead to neutering (so they can't create another child), incarceration (for the rest of their lives, plus another 50), and even execution. I'm not sure if that's justice talking in my mind, though, or the desire to make me feel better. And I know that it won't.

I only hope that girl gets to a family who will truly love and care for her. And sadly, based on how long it was apparently going on, I hope that the rest of her biological family is out of her life as well. They couldn't have *not* known... and someone should have stepped up earlier.

Pathetic. And sad.

One interesting bit is I didn't even know you could be charged with corrupting someone.
