Look in Quicktime's preferences. According to MozillaZine, Quicktime has it's own MIME settings that need to be fiddled with.

And Firefox's plugin-finder service gets Flash from Macromedia. If there was a decent implementation of Flash other than Macromedia's, it would likely ship with Firefox - the only reason that it doesn't ship with Macromedia's implementation is because Flash is released under a restrictive copyright license that prevents it.

I know about quicktime's own preferences, I've checked them before, and Flash was not there.
After reinstalling Quicktime and deleting QTAlternative, somehow things work agaon. I'm still trying to figure out why...
But anyway, thanks, guys!
