$49.99 stateside. I think you can order it online for cheaper, though...at least I've heard that.

Cheers,

I'll be with Saz!!! I started Wiz 1 in early 80's on an old 8088 w/amber monitor and have been hooked ever since. Thought I'd be drawing social security before 8 came out. Truly is a wonderful world when I can kill some more T'Rang!!!

I don't think I've ever seen anyone get this excited about a game before

Have fun with it Saz, I know you've waited a long time for it, as the countdown in your sig proved! Now enjoy yourself and show us that it was worth all those fireworks!

well it sounds really cool so I will download the demo and see how sick I get...lol

Could have been the head bobbing that was messing my head up.
I'll let you know how I fare in case others have the same problem.

Q: What are the system requirements for Wizardry 8?
A: System requirements are: Windows 95 OSR2, 98, or 2000; a 233 MHz processor or better; 64 MB of RAM, a 3D accelerator with 8 MB of texture memory, 4x CD drive; soundcard and mouse.

In short, a game that looks and feels absolutely gorgeous that still runs on older systems.

Cheers,

Hm! I think I'll just look in at Amazon and see if I can pre-order it!

Damn! STILL isn't listed! I tried a week or so back, but I thought it would be listed now its been released.
Um - does it have any other title than Wizardry 8? Like Baldur's Gate:Throne of Bhaal? It may be listed under sub-title.

If there's an Electronics Boutique near you, they have it. That's where I picked up my copy.

Australia's release is November 23rd (next Friday). I'm not sure as to the European and Asian release dates yet.

Cheers,
