I have seen folks bid on strange things before (like orders of SNOW!) - but this has got to be the weirdest thing I have ever seen.
And WHY oh WHY would someone bid on that unless they want insurance money??? There should be easier ways... oh, I know... they bid on that for a COURT APPEARANCE! (ok, ya caught me. I have been reading way to much Nero Wolfe.)

That is unbelievable. Maybe we could write to the guy and tell him that we will pay for his lunch for a week if he video records the whole dang thing! I would love to see the fool that bidded get roughed up!
Although...I am betting that whoever placed that first bid is bigger than this guy, and feels like he can take him on.
