Kittens....
Yes, guess who is moving in with us...or rather already has moved in with us... these little guys...well two girls and a boy.
We lost our sweet Inga last week (she was almost 10 and had a cancerous tumor that spread)and our only kitty, Merlin has been lonely. This week a friend was telling us her daughter's cat's 6wk old kittens had to be going to the pound if nobody took them.... soooooo..... Please Welcome, Ursula (the grey one with orange undercoat), Aelfreda (the all black one) and Ingatius (aka Iggy, the one who looks like he's all dressed for the opera).

Re: Kittens....
I don't know what things are like in your area, but our shelters are overflowing with cats. Why are people not getting their cats fixed these days? There are tons of cats that need a home...

Re: Kittens....
Same here, but the mom of these three was going to be spayed when she got pregnant. Now that the kittens are weaned and gone, she will be.

Re: Kittens....
Iggy looks a little like our cat, Ziba... although all black and white cats look fairly similar.

Re: Kittens....
Aw, sorry to hear about Inga that's really sad.
But on the other hand, Ingatius is really cute! mmm and I see a correlation between the names too.

Re: Kittens....
heehee.. yes, we had to bring in 3...Merlin's not quite sure WHAT we were thinking there... but I expect he'll adapt and teach them the basics, like Merlin is the head cat and they can amuse him but not steal his food... On the other hand, he used to let his sister Inga push him from his bowl now and then so I doubt he'll be too tough on the kittens....but they better not try stealing his basket or the various chairs he sleeps in...he's quite proprietary there! LOL
Yup, they're all named after Saints, although we took liberty with spelling on Alfie's name. They were born and raised in the rectory of my church so it only seemed natural!

Re: Kittens....
ROTFL! I had a kitten many years ago who demolished a set of curtains.... I hope these little furballs don't like to climb the drapes as much as he did! eef!
