Indeed... While all of you are boasting about your "soon to be kicked out of the tournament" favourites, Richard Krajicek is slowly sneaking back to the top... And he only played one official match before Wimbledon (which he lost) after being out for 1.5 years. Let's see how he will deal with Philippoussis.

And on a similar note, Sjeng Schalken is doing nicely so far as well... Don't mind me being happy now, it's been years two Dutchies reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam. Even if they get kicked out in this very round, there's still enough to be proud of.

EDIT: Schalken just reached the Quarter Finals, where he will meet Hewitt... Could be an interesting match, going to support fellow Dutchie Schalken (the underdog) of course.

You would have to say that Hewitt is an enormous favourite to wipe the court with Schalken. Especially as he holds the following record over him in the last month.

http://www.atptour.com/en/players/he...layernum2=H432

And then there's the record between Phiilippoussis and Krajicek that must be heavily in the Poo's favour. Now let's see.

Oh.....who cares about the past anyway!

Erm... Your point being? We Dutchies aren't allowed to cheer or something because "our" players have no chance whatsoever?
I didn't say anything about them winning the tournament, absolutely not. I'm already glad they actually got this far in the first place... For Schalken this is the first time ever he got beyond the third round in a grand slam, and as for Krajicek (who won Wimbledon a few years back btw, but heck, who cares about the past anyways ), he's going to play the 6th match in 1.5 years time, 5 of them on Wimbledon this year. Let's just turn it the other way around... If those Aussies don't win, they have all reason to be terribly ashamed. If they *do* win, it's what they were expected to do, and whatever happens, Schalken and Krajicek have a great tournament to look back on.
Either way, we Dutchies can't lose.

WOOHOO! Krajicek has beaten Philippousis!

So at least we won't have a 100% Aussie finals... It's a start.
