The World Cup has just the big one to go, I thought it was time for this.

Sampras, Agassi, Safin, Enquist, Bjorkman, Federer, Johansson, Novak all out...
Hewitt, Philippoussis, Arthurs, Draper all going strong...
Could the men's be the year of the Aussie? Thoughts?

The Women's certainly isn't...what's with them?

Agassi is going to beat everyone to the dirt like he always does . Maybe he will go against Sampras again? He'd better win if he does

I am thinking that Lady Blue perhaps failed to read the original thread before she posted . If Agassi is playing Pistol Pete next week, it will be in the Lower Hackney Open Championsip (or something akin) .

Love note from Mrs Sampras to a battered Mr. Sampras:

My Husband......... 7 times Wimbledon Champion, Pete
goes on to say what a great man he is and what a great player he is and the things he can do and the things he can still do (after the match )....

sorry I got carried away there ummm, basically when Sampras was loosing, his wife came back from shopping and was quite shocked, so wrote him a paper note encouraging him and gave it to him during tennis.

I enjoy watching the tennis. What I don't understand is why they only play it for two weeks in the year!

Do you know who the world #1 is?

Hewitt, not Agassi. Hewitt also won the last US open against Sampras in straight sets. Agassi didn't.
