This is a great idea, Jerome. I would support you 100% in requesting people to bump this thread, it only takes 20 secs to bump it.

I suppose i am new to this forum although i use to be around on the old one for BG. Not really that much to say at the moment, I have been playing AD&D for probably longer than i care to remember . And despite all the fan fare surrounding the Forgotten Realms, i am pleased Greyhawk has returned to a position of good standing in WOTC. I hope it can remain there.
Cheers

Hello ironworkers! Kitka is my name, i am veteran at BG and sequel, although i have not played the totsc expansion yet. (little while)i lurk frequently, but from time to time lash out with advice and such. hmmm. i guess i should say that i choose clerics mostly, because i am power hungry. i like to use spells and armour, and *love the crom fayer! one day i will DL the ieep, and craft some nice cleric stuff. maybee. PS, anyone reading this who can make a "bishops bell" i would be very gratefull. -it is used in qick slot like the harps, but is a bell, and turns undead. -any class. neat huh? old paper item, that one. my solo jaunt, spoilers ahead

Hello my precious, here you all were thinking I died back at Mount Doom...hehe!

I'm glad to be welcomed here and hope to meet you all sometime soon.I will admit that in the two years scince owning a PC I have not baught a single RPG.Recently however I was given BGII as a gift and so found my way here looking for advice, chat and a fiew stiff jars of mead.I've had great fun over the years playing RPG's on my Amiga and the odd AD&D campaign,I love a good tale and some well fleshed out characters-adventure games being my first true love (Monkey Island, bring it on).
I also like socialising down the local tavern, music (most styles but no pop),old movies (Jason & the Argonaughts rocks),and generally life itself.Over here in England it rains alot,so you've got plenty of time to sit infront of a monitor and play all those great games out there.

Umm...I think that covers it!

I'm a newbie as well{MALE. Excuse the curly brackets but they looked a bit lonely}. Used to have a job but now I'm looking after 'me mum and dad'.
well alright, just cooking the meals and driving them around (mostly up the wall).
I live right next to the New Forest. with sounds alot better than the 24 square miles
of OIL REFINERY that on the other side of me.
I talk to myself as well, sometimes. But half the time I Know what I'm going to say next.

Just finished the BGII a few weeks ago and I'm Starting again with a my new character
'Baldrick the Dragon-Gooser'.
Old character was 'Spliffy the Kangeroo-Stuffer'
I'll probaly keep changing the quotes underneath my messages

Hmm, just seen a bit on Telly about Edible Traffic cones.(Flavour of Potatoes).
Oh yeah, Anybody fancy coming up with a 'Weather Wizard'. It may rain alot here in
England, but it verily PISSETH it down in my BGII.
