Hello Bahamut! You are right, haven't seen you in ages! I bumped a few threads last night and saw your posts with old sig "griever" and wondered what you are up to! Are you out of school for holidays yet?

A round of drinks to everyone.
Just found out my cousin (grew up like brother/sister),
is pregnant.
So tonight the drinks are one me.
Enjoy

A huge raven, black as the night, comes flying in through one of the cafe's wide-open (steam-control !) windows and sits down on Cloudbringer's shoulder where it immediately starts to gently nibble at her earlobe. After overcoming the initial surprise the Stormrose notices the little wooden tube dangling from one of the bird's legs. She grabs it, removes the cap and a tiny parchment pops out. It reads:

"I have always known that you are a very perceptive person, one of your many endearing qualities. But then again, intuition is not a very exact science. Neither is nonverbal communication or so it seems ..."

Lioness saunters in, and cooly pours a steaming mug of hot chocolate. She then curls up in an armchair after saying hi to Cloudy and enters the World of Pern...

Lioness enters the real world long enough to offer her condolences to Lord Shield and tell him it happens to her, too. Oh, well, enjoy your iced tea, I'm in a nice air conditioned library...haha!

A Djinn enters.
Tea...ah maybe a bhang lassie this time...please and thank you.
May I recite some verse?
Thou art more beaut...er, no.
How about this:
A poem! A poem!
What mystic vision catches my sailing tide
propelling me along waves of eternity
with an Ariande thread to find my way home
I safely look to the next moment
praying to the fall winds that guide my vessel
to blanket the earth in the contentment of compassion.
Thank you...
Like some puffed up pompous fool Djinn Raffo leaves the podium and,
buffoon like, trips out the door.

Shieldy as I didn't kill you on elyxium or Abyss, do I get a hug. I think yo should check out Fielderaan though

Djinn took off before I could hug him/her (???) for the poem

Bahamut, there is not disco here. However for one week only (after that I need the space on my website ) you can hear me sing a bit of acapella buesy gospel, a somewhat different version of Motherless Child. For the uninitiated acapella = unaccompanied.
