Just to head off on a tangent here.
How is it that people always call coonspeistes theoriest are insanse because they believe in something revently when they believe that the theory is wrong just as revently? Or how the main evidence is always that the people who are meant to be behind the event denie it? And why to hot dog buns come in packs of nine when hot dogs come in packs of ten? |

I do not understand why people are so quick to dismiss these sort of things?
Remember Galileo or any of the mot revulutionary scientists, no one believed them, but they sure were right.. I mean, there's alot of things we don't know about! Let's not be so judgemental people, if you don't believe it, say so, don't ridicule the man!

quote: Okay, so aliens are your specialist subject. Answer me this: As you know The H-1B is a nonimmigrant classification used by an alien who will be employed temporarily in a specialty occupation or as a fashion model of distinguished merit and ability. So my questions are: What constitutes a speciality occupation and is there an annual limit on the number of H-1B aliens?

quote: In highschool, I had a teacher for music lessons who was convinced that Paul McCartney died 30 years ago in a car crash... Back then, he showed us a complete conspiracy theory, including the disappearance of the winner of a Paul McCartney look-a-like contest and symbolism in their LP covers... I was only 13 back then, so we were gullible enough to believe it. But I've come to realize soon enough how ridiculous the entire conspiracy would have been, that very same evening when I tried to convince my dad of McCartney's death. For the rest, I'm not really a conspiracy type kind of person... "Ah, let's see, there's mail today... What's this? "To the inhabitants of this building"?? What? Who? Why?? How do they know that? Are they watching me? It's a conspiracy I tell ya!" |

What get's me about conspiracy theorists is that for people interested in science, they ignore the precept that the simplest answer is usually correct.
They are believing second hand information that says the second hand information that the majority of the world accepts is wrong, and that there's an evil scheme to get people to accept it. I have one question for conspiracy theorists. Who is "they"? Actually I have two questions. Why would "they" bother trying to dupe a world caught in an information revolution, that aliens exist or that a moon landing was false? Give logic behind the conspiracy. Please. When no logic is presented, the term "madness" is used with justification - madness being the absense of reason. The proof of Alien existence would be of incredible galvinising benefit to the planet, and something people could not cover up. Governments cannot even cover up a sex scandal involving TWO PEOPLE, let alone one involving thousands. Secondly what are the financial benefits to either of the two cover ups presented here? Who is making the money to present the cover up? Thirdly, for the moon scenario, every "proof" that it's fake has a valid argument against it - such as the lack of air to transport soundwaves etc - yet the conspiracy theorist ignores it, preferring to rely on the laymans conclusions from half correct knowledge, and T.V screen analysis. There is no balance. Everyone is against them. There is a word for someone who believes the world is against them. Paranoid. Why am even wasting my time.... I'm late. Byeeee. |
