Whats the best possible way to deal with umber hulks? I try to attack but then they take over some of my party members making it worse.

Cloud Kill?....what fun is that??? I say cast Chaotic commands, and hack 'em up. Much better for stress relief.

Umber Hulks shouldn't cause any problem. Exept the group in Nalia's castle. You should try, if you don't have cloudkill, To stay in the previous room, and only attack one at a time.

In Nalia's Castle, kill the dogs in the courtyard, then make dod stew. Get your thief to hide in shadows, or invisible mage. Place the dog stew to the left, down the hall, in a room with some bones. THey will go eat the stew and you can walk to the next stage.

Also you can lay some traps down right by it so they get damaged and if you have a mage cloud kill in the room you know their eating in since their all bunched up in there.
