After I finished the Hendak and the slaves mission in the slums the journal entry won't move to the done quests side. Anyone know whats up with that? I freed hendak, we went down and killed the slave guy in the copper coronet, then I went through the sewers to the ship and freed all the little kids, and killed everyone inside and then I walkout the front door and that was that. Did I miss something or kill someone I wasn't supposed to?

Harkoliar is correct. You must talk to Hendak to finish the quest and get your reward. That will remove the quest from your journal.

I'm kinda aready way past that part in the game now so my memory is a little fuzzy, but I swear I talked to him afterward. I didn't even realize the entry was still there till just they other day, but I'm pretty sure I killed everyone on the ship and then I went back and talked to him. I cant say for certian though. That was my thought too, but when I go back to look for him, he is nowhere to be found. Do you think he only waits for a certain period of time or should he still be there, becuase I've looked every where.

In your first post, you said "we" killed the slave guy in the Copper Coronet. If Hendak doesn't get the killing blow on Lehtinan, he might turn Hostile to you, and sometimes bystanders will turn Hostile if you hit Lehtinan at all.

Once Hendak kills Lehtinan, he remains glued to that spot for the rest of the game, unless of course something attacks him. (He might come to your aid if hostile creatures, such as Bandits, follow you inside the building.) So if he's not by the bar, then that probably means that you killed Lehtinan while Hendak was still wandering the hallways in the Coronet--which means that congratulations, you've buggered the quest, and it's way too late to do anything about it now.

Hmmmmmmm... That makes me wonder... I vaugely remember racing Hendak down to that guy so I could kill him before he got there. I don't recall him geting hostil, but theres a "reason" my short term memory aint so great. So I either didn't talk to him or I pissed him off or its a crazy fluke... Anyone have any suggstions on how to fix it. I hate having things in my journal that I can't get out... Can I use some globals or something or an editor to erase it out of my journal... Its really bugging me...

I tend to disagree. I was soloing a Lawful good mage, and took it upon myself to kill Lehtinan. Finger of death! Bam! After he was dead, Hendak just gave his usual "Burn in the abyss, FIEND!" rant, and thanked me. Then I freed the slaves, and all was mostly well in the slums

Isn't that more of a Chaotic Good Mage? Passing judgement on the spot doesn't seem very Lawful to me( more like vigilantism), and it's not as though he tried to attack you.
