Is Undermountain still open? [Yep! Sure is!]
The server I've been playing on for the last several years shut down for good back in the Spring. I tried a few others, but none of them had the same "feel" as the server I grew used to, so I decided to take a break for awhile.
I would still like to play some, though, so I was wondering if Undermountain is still open? If so, are Dev Crit and HIPS allowed? If they aren't, that's fine. I would just need to know for sure before creating my character(s).

Re: Is Undermountain still open?
3 days and 27 looks......
and nobody has bothered to answer the question one way or the other. Seriously? Guess I haven't missed much by not playing.

Re: Is Undermountain still open?
Honestly I havn't loged on in Ages and Z would be the only person to say if its still up or not.
Failing that you can just load up NWN and see if Undermountain is still appearing in the server list?

Re: Is Undermountain still open?
Been out for a month so I only just picked up this thread.
The Undermountain server is still open. Dev Crit is allowed. HIPS also seems to be allowed but there are so many monsters with good spot and listen checks that I have never found it very useful. |

I should set a goal to get back into gaming online. It made me so happy once. What caught my attention was the title of this thread and am ashamed that I never noticed before.

Re: Is Undermountain still open?
Sorry C, missed the post! Yep, EFU is still in business. Once I get things finished up in RL, I'll be updating EFU again. Just been feeling really crappy lately. (Back pain). The worst of the pain comes and goes.. just gotta deal with it until its back to sane levels.. lol.. sucks.
But there's a few new things since you've logged in, so check it out!! Don't forget that Mithral cod piece! hehe..

Re: Is Undermountain still open? [Yep! Sure is!]
I will get back into Undermountain but I do need to sort out some issues first.
I just installed Windows 7. I had to re-install NWN1 and it will play but there is a problem. It will not update/install patches when I try the update button on the opening screen. I have downloaded the 1.68 and 1.69 patches from the Bioware site but when I install them I am told that NWN1 is now "incompatible". I will try to work around this but if I am missing something obvious I would appreciate any advice. |

CEP Hakpak [148+ MB] CEP stands for 'Community Expansion Pack' and EfU uses it. CEP is an extremely popular hakpak, and many download it and consider it a third expansion pack but it's not retail, it's Community Created! You need to also download this to play in the Mod Escape from Undermountain.

On the desktop icon, can you right click on it and select compatibility mode? (or click properties then maybe there's a setting for XP mode?) I don't use Win7 due to this reason--stupid OS that breaks $1000's of dollars of software just isn't worth it--YET.
