For some reason, I've gotten the impression that johnny already knows that.

Thanks, it's always good when someone points out the obvious for the less observant among us

Well, not exactly. Fishing while being drunk is quite an experience. I caught an eel, it's hard enough to get it off the hook when you're sober, but when you're drunk it's as good as impossible. I also caught a fish that was too heavy for my rod to real in, and my brother's father in law jumped in the canal to hand it to me. I don't think he would have done that when he was sober.

I wasn't the one to point out that you can get drunk without fishing

Ah yes, if all else fails, there's always the weather to turn to for discussion...
*sigh*
Ah well. We're currently having the same dreary, cloudy weather that we have 300 days a year in our country. Ah well, at least it's not raining right now, for a change.

And yeah LOL it is a bit sad that we've resorted to talking about the weather. But I know Groj dried up all his thread ideas back on Pande so I'm not expecting him to come up with anything better

Then again drunk fishing or drunk [insert activity here] is always a fun topic I regularly take part in drunk cycling as I normally cycle to clubs and then back home.

I also do hung-over badminton as badminton is always the first thing on saturday but I can't say I've tried drunk badminton - should be fun though.
