The artifact spells aren't true spells that you can cast. They just allow you to use them as an enchant or blessing.
I forgot to say before enchanted armour can protect you from fire, ice & magic. |

Get pain and spirit! Those two are definitively worth it! Then pick any other if you want to add spells. IŽd recommend artifact of fire since you can add protection from fire with that! I usually bless my characters boots to protect them, like 80%fire, 20%ice,80%magic, +3reg. Then increase armor rating on the rest.
