Does anyone know what the Shadow Dragon Wardstone does? I am fighting the dragon and can't seem to beat him. And NO I don't want to take it of insane. Thanks.

I believe if you carry the WardStone The dragon will not attack you. If you enter his area without the stone he will attack ASAP!

If you have the Wardstone in your party, you can paas by the Dragon without getting noticed.
Imo, you should make the efford to try on him. He is tough, but gives alot of XP, and holds great items.

The wardstone gives you the chance to avoid him completely, or even better - to prepare and get your strike in first. It's definately worth the effort.

I agree that taking down the shadow dragon is worth it. Anything that large has to leave you some useful items...

Dundee Slayturn has posted some tips useful for fighting dragons. Although, I had already been successful w/ each dragon encounter, this list openned my eyes to some new stratagies. I believe his dragon tips can be accessed by entering one of his posts and clicking on the link to his site.
