Weird thing happened in my game. I leveled up my monk, but he was given the option to take "Imporved Evasion" as a feat.
I did not choose this, but noticed in the dialogue screen that my Monk has gained the ability "Improved Evasion" (he's level 12 now). Does my monk really have this feat, as he's supposed to, for free? Or do I need to choose it next time I'm able? Will taking the feat now give me any added bonuses?

You actually have this feat for free. You do not need to choose it, and it won't provide any additional benefits.

When I leveled up again, it was already checked off. It must've been a tiny bug or something. No big deal.
