Well...I just discovered that DailyRadar.com is officially post-mortem. However, no one seems to know why they bit the dust. Anyone have any insights into this?

Kind of bums me out as they always had good and current info. on games.

Wow, they seemed like they were better off then a lot of them too. There are probably going to be more to follow.

Yup. I thought the very same thing when I saw that IGN went to fee-based for most of their information. I mean, don't get me wrong, there is still a lot of data available for free...but it is not updated as much as the fee-based service. The collapse of the dot-coms is totally out-of-control...

I liked them as well, but in the last 3 months, they started having those damn pop up ads (3 of them at a time!) like some warez porn site or something.. I will miss them though, they had some good stuff!

It's weird though, We've been up since 1994, before Gamespy, before IGN, and even Gamespot, and sites are dropping like flys (sad). Butt we won't be following suit, I'm actually about to make the site even larger and better! What kills most of these sites is $$$. When a site becomes about making money and not passion, you lose something.. I dunno, I'm weird I guess
