Analysis of the sonic pattern of a duck's quack shows that the echo and the original quack have a decaying wave pattern that are almost identical. Thus, the echo and the original quack are essentially the same, meaning we cannot distinguish the echo.

31. Because metal was scarce, the Oscars given out during World War II were made of wood.

I don't know if that is true, but Bette Davis was the one who named the statue "Oscar", because it reminded her of an ex-husband.

They don't want you to know how much time you've spent dropping silver dollars into the one-armed bandit.

You cannot sink in quicksand. Quicksand is more dense than human flesh, so you will always float.

They will echo, ask anyone who keeps ducks.

I wathced a show called MythBusters and the proved that the ducks echo is identical to its quack so therefore people think that there is no quack.

I really enjoy Mythbusters! My wife doesn't quite see the fascination in it, though...

Building massive one-time-only projects to prove a point... great!

Sorry to interrupt your terrific list, seriously it's actually funny and interesting.

Casey Kasem is also the voice of Cliffjumper in the Transfomers.

Mythbusters is a fun show, although they're a bit to interested in blowing stuff up, I think it affects the projects they're willing to take on.
