Hmmmm perhaps it's my location that has adversely affected my stocks value. At least I'm not alone. Manhattan Property prices, various company shares including airline stock, plus Yorick Pty Ltd all falling...

Oh and of course the Aussie dollar You'd think it would grow stronger, but no. The bloody USD goes UP! Now I'm even poorer than last week.

how do you address a lady in aussie's way, Hugh?
today I was talking to one lady from Australia, by the way, she was impressed by your postings, so she might check you out...no, I mean, she (is engaged) might check IW out some time later
I asked her "how do they greet ladies in Australia?"
she said:" you don't want to know, trust me."

lol, it got me curious here. Hugh, show me how you do that?

Say, Hugh, you could always do some cost-dollar average buying into a few of the index funds, they are a steal right now - I have X$ that go every month. You could do wild speculation in some Jeromes, Rikards, Lionesses, or simply buy and hold the long term growth/income paper, like Cloudy, et. al., for that retirement nest egg.
Of course, the second national bank of JJ's mattress is always open for your deposits, with a remarkably paper-free system. Just send in your currency and forget about it.
