Custom!
A loaded question though - they`re all fun. Depends on your play style too. Warrior classes are easiest and might be fun if you`re just learning or like hack and slash more than anything else. Rouge & theif classes are very fun too, and don`t forget mages. |

Well, all three of them, magic - stealth - combat based custom classes. Just play the game with three different characters They are all fun...
Or maybe choose the one you prefer then level up enough to make your char good in all three gaming styles... Anyway Morrowind is a hack'n'slash favoring game - there is no trouble your katana cannot get you out of... magic is useful for any char, but really not absolutely needed - enchanted items you will find will compensate. Playing a mage as a first char can be difficult - things start to be tough when the bad guys close in and you are low level and unarmored...

no one had a definitive answer, it's up to you really. I prefer custom class though. as I like to assign my own skill that I like.

I have only tried using a premade class once and that was when I first started the game. I always prefer custom.

IMHO stealth classes are themost fun. I guess it just depends on what you find cool
