It's so sad - the US Basketball team has never looked more brittle yet we couldn't put them away. 51 points in the first half, but only 20 odd in the 2nd half - we choked more than they did - waaaaaaah.

And it looks like Peurto Rico - the giant killers are about to flunk out to pool minnows Angola - go figure?

And do I hear correctly - did the #1 ranked team in the Olympic Basketball team (Serbia and Montenegro) just lose to the Tall Blacks???? Is that some form of Kiwi joke that I am unfamiliar with?

Oh - and if anyone wants to hear a good Kiwi joke I will dredge one up from a few years ago at Barcelona - "Spining Rhombus" That one always gives me a smile, and it doesn't hurt sometimes to remind our Kiwi cousins about it now and then . I see that Roy and HG are starting to give the Enzedders more and more grief about their well rounded medal tally on each nights episode of "The Dream".

Well, there isn't any dreamteam anymore, there was only one, after that it were teams that had normal human beings in the line up. They are still the best players in the world, but obviously they are beatable. So maybe they should get rid of that silly name.

Johnny yet lives? Welcome back buddy, lot of us folks have missed your presence

Dream Team, yeah, that did die back in the day of the 92' Olympics but it seems that the USA is adopting another nick name, but it's to the women's softball team "Wonder Women." But I don't really blame them for that name, they've had flawless victories over every country so far.

Australia lost eh? I guess determination to win can take a group a long way from a loss that they endured.

Nice spamming btw Davros

Thanks Gangrell, so some of you actually noticed my absence ? Now i'm feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Or is it..... wait, i have to go to the bathroom.

I was gone for a while because i moved to another appartment, didn't have connection for a week or three, and my PC was in a repairshop for four weeks, that's all.
