Anyone thinking of getting a new antivirus thingie should go for this one. It updates your protection automatically when you are on-line and it picks up and quarantines/mends/whatever, pronto. I guess there may be better ones out there, but this is the best I have ever had and I was VERY thankful for it today! First time I ever got hit by a virus and it cleaned it up right away! PS. No, Symantec are NOT paying me to advertise!

How've you been Fljotsdale? Enjoying Torment? I've been thinking of playing again, but I've barely started Hearts of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster, never even tried Dark Side of the Sword Coast for BG, and now there's The Darkest Day for SoA. All this fun at once is too much for one person!

I have Norton System Works 2001 and have been thoroughly pleased with it as well.

I used to have the pre-installed version of McAfee before I picked up Norton's, but wasn't as pleased.

Yeah - LOVE Torment! I've started it 3-4 times and not been happy with the way I was running my team/quests, but this last try looks good. I've completed every quest so far, found the way into the Siege Tower, am now in the Modron Maze, and shall use the Portable Portal as soon as I've completed it. I'm assuming it takes me to the Mazed hag (forget her name - I'm getting senile!).

You DO have an overabundance of goodies, don't you?! Enjoy!

I don't have a vius protection, nor have never needed one. But since you guys/gals are always getting in trouble...sooner or later, one of you are going to get my PC sick. How do I get a virus protection? How much does it cost?

Yeah norton is a good system, the virus protection part of it anyway...
I have issues with others such as norton diagnostics etc. A real good tip from experience is to turn off your live update or know your schedule. There is nothing worse than,oh say, fighting the dragon firkraag from baldurs gate SOA and right in the middle of this epic possibly victorious battle my system decides It,s time to scan my files for viruses!Even with a high end system, the old girl locked up and crashed hard on me.You do save recently don,t you....

Anyway I,m heading back over to bg soa forum to see if anyone has answered my tech question yet.

I like it too, but it has a problem with POP3 email accounts. Every once in awhile it blocks sending and receiving. I have to reset the email protection and then it's ok again for awhile. I have no idea why.
