Wow, I remember thinking MGS2:Substance on PC was large, as it was the first game to come on DVD, but last night I went and bought Flight Simulator X-Delux edition....

I went to install the game and got the error "You do not have enough disk space to install Microsoft Flight Simulator X"
"Hmm" I thought.. "I have about 8gig free, that can't be right..."

So I went and deleted a few games and movies untill I had 11gig free, but yet again, I got the "You do not have enough disk space to install Microsoft Flight Simulator X" error.

I then thought it must be a bug and went and looked on the box to see how much it took (Which I should have done in the first place) Boy was I suprised when it read 15gig!

Anyone else got this game? It's pretty damn good, but jeez! 15gig is alot of space!

That's indeed probably the largest game in original shape. My bro is still playing the previous version, which grew close to 90 Gig with all it's mods, i expect more of the same from this version.

OUCH! Hmmmm I don't think many of my games are that large or even close to it. Will have to check when I get home.

The largest I have ever installed may come up to around the 3gig mark. I can't even remember what it was.

Oblivion : 4.5 gb
WOW : 5.7 gb
The Sims 2 and 3 expansions : 2.8gb + 1.2gb + 0.7gb + 0.9gb = 5.6gb
Ragnarok Online = 1.2gb + 1gb = 2.2gb

Hmm... Let's see.
The biggest game ever on my PC was Battle for Middle Earth 2 with about 9 GB if I remember correctly. Second biggest was Deus Ex, not because of the game itself, but because of the saves which were between 20 and 50 megabytes. That one amounted to about 7GB. And third, and current, is Unreal Tournament 2004 with 6.92 GB.

Wow...15?? My largest is heavily modded Oblivion at 6.8 gigs.

While you're at it...what's the smallest?

I think I have Joust around here somewhere at a few K...
