dont u love it when u try open up a chest, the trap comes out not affecting u but all the enemies around you? wen i was playing the boogre place the jungle lily's wouldnt stop attacking me and weneva i tried hitting back, i'd usually gag or something. then i tried opening the treasure chest for slaing u and it turns out it killed one of those man traps. another thing about boogre caves is that that grunaxe guy tells u to free all the boogres. how do u do that?

Chests. Sure If the chest casts an area-effect spell then it casts an area-effect spell. Period. If it's not only you who happens to be in the area then it gets hit as well.
Note that the same mechanism is one of sources of those annoying "assistances" (a solo character tries to score no assistances, it's a matter of honour). A lot of monsters casts area-effect spells, for example, Flamestrike. It often happens that they kill some of their "fellow monster", which you have already hit. An assistance, not a kill. Grunaxe. You cannot help the other boogres because you cannot command them. You can save only yourself. Saving other boogres seems to be an unimplemented feature. Note that Grunaxe tells you how to save yourself and wants you to save the others. Perhaps, you were supposed to save yourself first and then do something, which wasn't implemented in the release version of the game.

Area spells can be soooo useful!
I believe that by doing in S'Kesser Da you have effectively "saved" the rest of the Boogres - they don't seem to change but they're Boogres - what do you expect?? Wyv |

Kewl! Yet another method for frying the salads...
I hadn't thought much about the saving of the Boogres. I guess I thought that since you opened the way to the Idol of Aku, you've given them the way to get out. It's just up to them to take advantage of it.

Hum.... there is so much that the game did not implement... imagine what the game would be like if it was truly completed... with saving Boogres in this case... and the curse of the Mavin.... well.... yea.... what if....

Which is why I'm not worried about the delay in Dungeon Lords' release, So So: I'm hoping they'll use the time productively & not leave gaping holes like they did here...

Amen. It's nice to have the designers' visions fully implemented.

No, you will lose nothing. You've only been informed about brightness of the ogre spirit. That's all.
