I'm sure everyone that's been to Vivec has asked about rumors and they hear about the people that have been murdered recently. Well, I went to the hall of justice office watch and talked to the ordinator captain or whatever he is and he gave me some pointers on it and asked for help on solving this. I asked the people in the areas he mentioned the crimes happened and I tracked down the criminal. Offed her, went back to him and he offered a reward of either an Indoril Helmet and Cuirass (the armor worn by the Ordinators), or a belt which I forgot the name of. I like the Ordinator armor, so I asked for it as the reward and he told me to be careful about wearing it in Vivec. So I listened to him and didn't put it on. Afterwards I went playing around the area, found a cave (forgot the name) and in that cave there are some dead ordinators lying around. Well, I found the pieces that I needed to fill up my armor from them. Bracers, spaulders, shield, boots, the works. I was looking cool . But I got in a fight with an ash ghoul and I had next to no mana or health so I cast my Almsivi Intervention -still wearing the armor-. An Ordinator in the Temple district of Vivec did not like me wearing the armor and he attacked me; I had not saved in a while so I gulped down some of my precious potions and killed the guy in self defense. I noticed the dark elf woman close by did not join in the fight so I thought I was ok maybe as I killed the Ordinator in self defense? So I took the Indoril off and replaced it with my Dreugh armor set and went around talking to other Ordinators in other cantons and they didn't show hostility to me so I thought it was alright.

I saved, kept playing, went back to the cave after a rest in the mage guild beds. After done looking around the cave some more and stumbling into some Sixth House reference stuff in there which I decided to ignore for fear of doing something that has to do with the main quest when I'm really keeping off from doing it for the time being, I switched the Indoril for my Dreugh stuff again so I could safely teleport into Vivec with my Almsivi Intervention only to be surprised by 2 Ordinators that rushed me immediately! So I cast Divine Intervention ASAP which landed me in Ebonheart, loaded up a Chameleon 80% amulet I have (got it off the corpse of one of the thieves that tried to kill me when I fell for the trap of the girl that loses a ring in a pond), used the spell and I managed to cast Almsivi safely to Vivec as the 2 Ordinators didn't notice me thanks to the Chameleon, I went to the other cantons and sure enough I'm not hated by the other Ordinators. Just by those 2 guys that got placed where the one I killed was. Not sure if I'm in trouble too with the Ordinators inside the Halls of Justice and Halls of Wisdom but whatever the case, it's an annoying situation that stemmed forth from a stupid guard =/.

WoW! Silverthornne! I am in Vivec right now myself but not on the level you are. I dont think the guards like anyone here and your right- stupid guard!! (I haven't found that lady yet thow) This place has alot to do with the main quest but I dont have anything to offer yet.

(Since you have this marked as a spoiler thread I can talk freely!)

I am currently doing the Monk quest of finding all the stones and reading the inscriptions to be inducted. I have found 2 so far and am working on the third tonight!

It was so funny when I arrived here at first. I was wondering around the areas and found the stop the moon stone. I wasn't on the Monk quest then and I touched and donated to the shrine...guess what happened. I could fly!! I ended up flying around mapping alot of the area and swooping in on monsters unknowingly, nailing them, and then flying away! Very cool!! The only thing was that I couldn't rest because "my feet weren't touching the ground"...?? Being on the edge of death I became a little concerned so I let the attribute fizzle away while waiting in a safe place. (Just thought you would find this funny) Well, good luck with what your doing and good travels! And if you see a fully armored Battlemage with an electric war hammer flying around---> its just me

Oooh, I loved the effect on that stone! Levitate all around Wish it lasted longer though but hey can't have everything oh well. I used to hate Vivec at first but the more time I spent in there the more I got to like it, it's a very well done city. Everything has its place and has many merchants and quests and intrigue all around. Just have to learn your way around it and it becomes one of the most useful towns IMO. I just have to remember to not wear my favorite armor set and to have that chameleon amulet handy .

Silverthornne, Almsivi Intervention has been a great choice in my majika also. Ive used it so many times and escaped many a threat. No problem casting it underwater either!
A great mapping tip is to wonder the outdoors by the many means of travel- by boat, siltstrider, or teleport, and cast it upon arrival. Run back to where you came from. Take the means to a different place. You should be able to map a vast portion of the island in a short amount of time!

I hate ordinators so one day (game day)I started to talk an ordinator and he gave we a wisecrack about how he is watching me and I turend around and whacked him with my trusty devel spear and I ran alot and then jumped on a pot to ecscpe his mace so I am stil there on that pot using all the spells I have to kill him intill my magika ran out. then I switched to my bow and shot about 200 arows at him and he is still alive and I cant kill him

There are quite a number of ordinator armor sets in Ghostgate. Some are for sale and some are for steal . Just don't wear the helm and/or the cuirass while talking to them.

Yes, Vivec is a half-god. Something like a demi-god and if you are powerful enough, you can actually kill him but ONLY do this after you have finished the main plot.
