I just watched the season premiere. The only thing that bugged me about it was the last scene. (Junior shoots Tony) The last few months there have been rumours that this season was going to be the final one. If it is the writers have already wrecked the show for me. I have watched it since the start. In my opinion, the only way to end the series is for Tony to get whacked. I'm going to have a hard time tuning in every week for a coma dream of Tony's which is the story line for the 2nd show. A series of shows with Tony in a coma with the finale being his death and funeral would be a let down of the highest degree and a slap in the face to Sopranos fans around the world. It reminds me of the "dream" season of Dallas where the writers killed off Bobby b/c the producers and Patrick Duffy were in contract dispute. The dispute was settled and they had to write him back in. His 1st show back had his wife waking up and walking in to the bathroom where he is getting out of the shower. The entire season was a bad dream.--LLLLAAAAMMMMEEEE. Sopranos fans deserve better.
