If the fate of earth were in the hands of the Captain of a Starship - who would you want to defend the fate of the planet - Picard, Janeway or Kirk?

Kirk kicks butt and takes names
Picard would use Diplomacy...

But I think Janeway would Whomp before they knew what hit em!

I don't know what happened, I used to hate Star Trek from the bottom of my black heart but for some reason I have started watching Voyager every week...and I actually enjoy it... (It must be 7, how do they get that woman into such a tight suit?)

Picard gets my vote - he is way more impressive, a leader, not just a diplomat.

I vote for Sisko as well since he has special protection from a bunch of wormhole aliens(or gods).
Picard is a good second.

Every one of them has 'Saved Earth' already on their resume.
Kirk, i'm sure numerous times, but the time i'm remembering is that time
where there was that agent called like Gary 7 or something like that and
he had that cat that turned into a woman!!!

Picard (or at least the Enterprise crew) from the Borg when Picard was
turned into Luqutius. (sp?) Also in the last episode Earth was threatened I think. And I think also in that earlier one where those sentient parasite
things took over peoples bodies and the only way you could tell if someone was
infected was by the little tail sticking out of the back of their neck!!
Sisko went back in time and made sure those riots or whatever went as planned and from the shapeshifter conspiracy.
Janeway went back in time as well in that episode where the young pilot was driving around with a cool girl in a volkswagon van.

Thus since all the captains can get the job done, I vote
for a young Wesley Crusher teamed up with Jake Sisko and Nog and Naomi Wildman!!!!!
