The ALSB has previously captured Neb for stealing the holy crystal head of Aerie. But after a trial in which the goddess Aerie herself appeared, we've decided to trust Neb (
 don't look at me) on the fact that he did all this to stop an ancient evil. So with a good few veteran ALSB members we have Neb on Tenser's Black Tenacles (so if he tries anything...  ) we plan to battle an ancient evil. If this turns out to be a hoax then Neb I will personally turn you into a black diamond statue.------------------

Neb walked outside the temple, followed by the other adventurers, he removed a horn from his belt and blew it, suddenly, a flight of gryphons descended from the sky and landed in front of the group of adventurers, Neb climbed onto the back of the first which was the gryphon leader, and told those of the others who couldn't fly to climb onto the others, after the others had climbed on, he told the gryphon where to fly and it left the ground, wings beating to gain altitude and flew south.
The adventurers flew south, passing lakes and mountains, as they flew, the landscape below them changed from fertile plains and lush forests to desolate wastelands and dry deserts, finally, the gryphons landed on top of a dune in a great desert, mountains were located to the east and it was towards those that Neb walked, the others following behind. The sun was rising when they reached the mountains, as they got close, they could see a great temple carved into the side of the mountain, located in such a way that it lay in perpetual shadow, other pools of murky constant shadow, even at noon, lay around it, it was these pools of shadow that Neb watched carefully, stroking his beard as he thought. (OOC: If any of you are going to run ahead and attack the temple, beware the shadow creatures lurking nearby.....) ------------------ Worshipper of Tiax. Wielder of the ancient Lawyer spells. Sir Avatar... raising his arm, pointing toward the big entrance - do u see that thing moving in the shadows of the great statues infront of the entrance? Neb motioned for the others to stop and advanced alone, with cautious steps he entered one of the pools of shadow and cast a Continual Light spell, in the magical light of the spell a swarm of Shadow Creatures were revealed, but they were more menacing and had a stronger aura of Negative Material energy than any member of the group had ever felt in a Shadow before.
While the creatures were still stunned by the magical light, Neb flung a fireball at them, destroying several of them, this brought them out of their stunned state, the group that Neb had attacked swarmed towards the adventurers and Neb, while the Shadows hiding in the other shadows ran towards the temple entrance to escape the rising sun which was destroying their shadowy hiding places. (OOC: There are human cultists inside too, though they are not completely human as they are part Negative Material energy, they are QUITE dangerous and most of them know energy draining spells.) Avatar casts a celestrial lantern group to scout....
They approach the shadows of the netrence and even their divine light fade rapidly. Avatar summons his Holy Goddess Aerie and she grants his Crystal malet the light of entire Galaxies. A blinding flash of HOLY light leaps from the Malet head like a lighthouse and an evil cry can be heard within the depth of the temple... "FORWARD..." ------------------

Arn take the lead and enter the temple cautiously... letting the other close up on hmi before going trough the great arch...
Well inside he cast a detect evil and everywhere in the dark red spots both large and bg appears as if he had infravision... At the time as Arn reaches the altar, Avatar have lighten up the grandhall, the wall sparkle as darkwaterfalls in the sun and the altar shines as the moon in a great evil kind of way...
Putting the body of a shadowcreaures altar... the altar explodes and a big cloud of smog make a round ball surrounding what earlier was the altar As the noice from the explosion fades a blurry,huge beast comes out of the cloud spreading darkness in the hall that even the blessed light from Aerie canresist ------------------ Bronze Cavalier of ALSB, symbol and protector of goodness May light illuminate u all |
