Nope, the burn wore off, but so did the holiday. Back to work for me. It's forty here today, and it'll be hotter tomorrow. Right now, though, I'm off into the sweltering streets to pick up some food. If only I could cook... no, bugger that, it's too hot to cook in this apartment. And 'next to nothing'? C'mon, Melbourne women are far more adventurous than that. : )

Heh. It'll be forty tomorrow here in Sydney as well. I live about 20 mins away from Yorick, at McMahons Pt, Sydney, Australia, right on the water, just across from the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
Here's a photo of the view from my apartment! |

I'm in a studio at Kings Cross at the moment. I'm on a mac (PC at my home studio). Bloody hot. Good weather for singing and swimming and maybe lying down under the shade of a coolabah tree but not much else.

It's forty-two now, and I just walked through the door. Still waiting for this antacid to kick in; I don't think the burger I ate for lunch had been refrigerated properly. What is a coolabah tree, anyway?

Holiday, Florida here. South Eastern United states. Too many beaches to sate my needs. Too much warm weather too. It was around 70 or so today. I much prefer the cooler Northern weather. Used to live in Flint, Michigan before and I grew up in Fayetteville, N.C. Where I was in NC had the best overall weather, but Michigan had the best winter weather. Can we say SNOW boys and girls.

I could never figure out how to translate fahrenheit to celcius. 0°C is -32°F - WTF?

Well, I remember that F is usually larger than C
You either add or subtract 32 depending on which way you translate. sub for C add for F I know that the multiplier is either 5/9 or 9/5 depending on which way you go. So 70 F = (70 - 32) * 5/9 I think that's about 21 C 70 C = 70 * 9/5 + 32 which is 158 F I may have that wrong though. Been awhile since I did it, but I think that's right. Oh right, 0 degrees Celsius is 32 degrees Fahrenheit. I know that though. And 100 degrees Celsius is 212 degrees Fahrenheit. That's why the Celsius scale was devised, so that there would be a base ten from freezing to boiling. |

Ah yeah, that's it. Let's see...
°F = 9/5°C + 32 So Melbourne suffered at about 108°F today. Ouch. |
