This is, apparently, common knowledge to all but me so I have no qualms about posting it here.

There was an article in my local paper today about people getting fake ID cards via the internet and how easy it is to do. I was skeptical, so I did a search. I went to the first site that popped out of the search engine and lo and behold! You could get fake driver's licenses for every state in the US and every province in Canada for pretty cheap! You could even get the realistic holograms for a few dollars more. Unbelievable! They do it under the guise of "novelty id's." You can even get a fake birth certificate! I was just astounded and needed to tell someone.

If you order one, you are in a sense donating your money to the website. They don't send them to you. My little brother sent away for one and he sent the money and everything, but he didn't get any id. Be very careful.

Seriously, if they don't send it to you, what are you going to do? Complain to the Better Business Bereau?

Oh I wouldn't do it. I hardly need to as I've been legal for a while. I just thought it was amazing.

That is a totally load of [censored]!

Kiss goodbye to a wad of cash and pray that the guy ordered a hamburger with it and then choked. (the extent of his choking can be based on your imagination)

With a little bit of hard work and some friends you can make your own. Its not so bad, oh and if you do decide to make your own IDs dont sell them unless its to people you know really well.

Ok, I'm sure that NOBODY here is advocating, assisting in, or describing a method for the sale or creation of illegal documents of ANY kind, am I right ?!

Last bleeping thing we need to see is Ziroc getting in trouble for that sort of thing on this board!

Seriously folks. Not a good idea on a public forum- the owner will get the flak.

I'm not suggesting anything, or even posting a site. All I did was discuss an article from my local paper. If they can print it there, we can have it here.

No worries, Gaelic! I know you weren't! And discussion of the fact it exists isn't a problem, very true.

Ahem, Jabidas.. of course not!

Um, any of you know where I can find something to prove I'm only 21 again?

Cloudy
